The League of Women Voters of Oregon's Voters' Guides are researched by the State League's Voters' Service Committee and printing costs are underwritten by Oregon businesses, foundations and individuals who support the League's mission to have an informed, voting electorate. The Voters' Guide differs from the state voters' pamphlet in two ways: The material is non-partisan and paid statement are not allowed. It includes candidates running for state or national office who have responded to specific questions posed by the League; and state ballot measures with backgrounds and pro and con arguments in an easy to read and compare format. Read it along with your State Voters' Pamphlet. Copies may be picked up at all branches of the Deschutes County Library and the Central Oregon Community College Library, governmental offices and the County Clerk's office. Distribution will also be through supporting businesses, some coffee shops, cafes and grocery stores. All the information in the Voters' Guide is also available on the web at the Democracy Network.
